After spending the night on a campsite at Monesterio I continued north to Badajoz where I crossed into Portugal once more and eventually reached Castelo Branco campismo by mid afternoon on 26th August 1999.
The three chaps in the photo to the right are Brian, Brian and Richard, all of whom originate from the UK but who now are on permanent holiday in Portugal.

Jim (Right), from Wolverhampton, rode his bicycle from England to Morocco via Belgium, France, Spain and Portugal.

While staying at Castelo Branco, I had yet another puncture and seeing as how my inner tube was back in England by this time, I bought another tube and sorted the job once and for all.
